This cool shade beacons me on a sunny day
Giving shelter from the sun
The pain of the blisters unbearable
A little rest for the sole
Hunger and thirst wrench the stomach
The throat feels like parchment
You are the mirage
Followed I you like a lost traveler in sand
How much I need to endure to find you
The thirst, the hunger, the blisters, the sun
I can't fight anymore
Let me rest and built my abode
In this shade

She Loved A Wrong Man
She loved a wrong man
Who wanted to marry her
Who wanted to take her everywhere
Who wanted the best for her
The man who wanted her
She loved a wrong man
Who waited for her
Who heard her
Who fed her
The man who hugged her
She loved a wrong man
Who walked with her
Who listened to her
Who comforted her
The man who loved her
Who wanted to marry her
Who wanted to take her everywhere
Who wanted the best for her
The man who wanted her
She loved a wrong man
Who waited for her
Who heard her
Who fed her
The man who hugged her
She loved a wrong man
Who walked with her
Who listened to her
Who comforted her
The man who loved her

Last Ray Of Hope
I woke up to the noise of chirping birds
It was unusual as I am used to my alarm
Dragging myself to the window
I saw the morning sun
The night was difficult
The fiend ripped my heart out
I breathed deeply to fill my lungs
And feel alive
At distance I heard someone wail
Maybe she lost someone
While I was left to die
Let me loose myself in the pain
And catch that last ray of hope
It was unusual as I am used to my alarm
Dragging myself to the window
I saw the morning sun
The night was difficult
The fiend ripped my heart out
I breathed deeply to fill my lungs
And feel alive
At distance I heard someone wail
Maybe she lost someone
While I was left to die
Let me loose myself in the pain
And catch that last ray of hope
